Raised in Colorado, I always looked up in wonder at the stars that loomed over the towering Rockies. I studied at Caltech and Stanford, becoming a scientist. Later I lived in Japan and traveled to many countries, where I learned that the world beneath the heavens is just as wonderful as the heavens above. In 2024, I bought a DSLR and began to do astrophotography. This blog is a record of my top highlights in pursuing this fascinating hobby.
